Why do I need a Kleenoil Bypass Filter?

Because 80 to 90% of engine wear and damage is from particles between 5 and 15 microns in size. Industry maintenance experts now understand that oil must be kept much cleaner to truly protect lubricated engine parts. Full flow filters provide engines with minimal protection by screening out particles 25 microns and larger. Factory full flow filters cannot provide fine filtration, and simultaneously maintain the required oil flow rates necessary to properly lubricate an engine. The Kleenoil bypass filtration system removes particles down to 1 micron in size. Kleenoil will clean your engine and hydraulic oil allowing the engine to run on clean oil 100% of the time eliminating up to 90% of most engine wear.

Does MOS guarantee its promises? What happens if a customer is not satisfied with the Kleeniol Bypass Filtration system?

Our promise to our customers: If the Kleenoil Bypass Filtration system does not allow you to at least double your oil change interval, as verified by 3rd party oil analysis, MOS will refund 100% of the cost of the system.

Kleenoil USA also warranties the Kleenoil filter housing and brackets to original purchaser for life. Adaptors, hose ends and hosing will all carry the normal warranty of the original supplier of those parts. The Kleenoil warranty exceeds the working life of the engine and can be transferred from vehicle to vehicle.

Does the Kleenoil Bypass Filtration system impact the Original Engine Manufacturers (OEMs) warranty?

NO, OEM's only require that the condition of the oil needs be maintained at certain minimum specifications during the warranty period. Using Kleenoil and monitoring your oil through oil analysis will maintain an oil quality that far exceeds manufacturer requirements, and support warranty claims.

Kleenoil has received specific acknowledgements from most engine manufacturers that the installation and use of the Kleenoil Bypass Filtration system will NOT adversely affect your warranty.

Will the Kleenoil Bypass Filtration system remove desirable elements (additives) from my oil?

NO. Additives are oil soluble and submicronic and therefore cannot be removed by the Kleenoil Bypass Filtration system. Kleenoil only removes dirt, contaminants, wear metal particles. In fact, Kleenoil will extend the life of the oils additive package by continuously purifying your engines oil, additives work less, and therefore maintain a longer useful life.

Does oil go bad or break down over time?

The basic properties of oil do not change during service. Under normal conditions oil becomes unusable when it gets contaminated or loses its addditive package. However, over an extended period of time and and under extreme conditions, oil is subject to oxidation. When oxidation reaches unacceptable levels, oil no longer functions as intended and must be changed. With Kleenoil Bypass Filtration this should occur after many miles and hours and identified through oil analysis.

Must oil be replaced at regular intervals to protect engines and hydraulic systems from damage?

NO. Oil change intervals are not dependent upon miles or hours that an oil has been in service. The need to change oil is dependent upon the amount of contamination contained within an oil.

When oil becomes contaminated by particles and moisture to the point that it cannot protect the lubrications system from wear and corrosion, it must be changed. Oil analysis is the proper way to ensure that oil life is maximized through use of proper versus premature drain intervals.

Does the Kleenoil Bypass Filtration system impact the engines oil pressure oil?

NO. Engine oil pressure will not be affected by installation of the Kleenoil Bypass Filtration system. Kleenoil filters approximately 2-3 quarts per minute. Kleenoil is a proven and reliable system. Its systems have been purifying oil for over 25 years in Europe and Canada.
